Wormbox

The Wormbox (RMI/UMI) – our first product to be mass-produced in our standard line range over thirty years ago – is ever popular. Our Wormbox range also includes the Double Worm box (CRMI), Helical Worm (CB) and these, together with our Torque Limiters and Variators are available off-the-shelf and ready to go.

For more demanding and specific applications, we have introduced the following gearboxes (found within our high tech line):

Planetary gearbox

STM Spa has developed a planetary gearbox to enable reduced size and weight in drive units, deliver over 90% efficiency and carry high axial loads. The planetary gearbox is ideal for applications such as environmental equipment, wind turbines and mobile applications.
