Double Brake Motors and Flameproof Motors

Firstly we introduce to you our Double Brake Motors, which are manufactured in Italy by the prestigious motor manufacturer MT Motori.  This motor is widely used in safety critical applications where customers require a back up to the initial brake.  In order to guarantee better safety we can supply a motor with a secondary DC negative action brake on the TF/DF range of Brake Motors, this in turn will double the braking torque thus ensuring a high stopping accuracy and a high level of safety in case of accidental interruption. These Double Brake Motors are available in frame sizes 63-200 and on excellent lead times.

We are also proud to introduce our new range of aluminium flameproof motors.  These motors are developed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres consisting of gas and/or vapours or combustible dust.  Protection classes covered include Cat 2, suitable for Zone 1, Zone 2 (2G) and for Zone 21 and Zone 22 (2GD); all motors are manufactured in compliance with the European - EN - standards for the relevant levels of protection.  This complete range of motors is manufactured in Italy.  Being of aluminium construction these motors are much lighter than the traditional cast iron motors and are very cost effective.
