New Office

As most of you reading this know by now, STM UK have relocated to the nearby town of Winsford. Having spent 10 happy years at Hartford Business Centre, it was decided that to achieve our long term goals it was necessary to move to larger premises. We had outgrown the building at Hartford, and although it saddened us to leave, the search was now on to find the perfect building to further develop STM UK.

The new Winsford site is located in the heart of Cheshire, bordering idyllic countryside whilst offering excellent transport links with the M6/M56/M62 motorways and major A-roads. With the further bonus of Winsford train station only 400 meters away (situated on the Birmingham-Liverpool line) the estate is ideally situated.

A further advantage is that Winsford Industrial Estate recently became the UK’s first Business Improvement District (BID) located on an industrial estate. This program of sustained investment is delivering a range of estate specific business support services, security enhancements and much more. 

With all this on offer, we decided that Winsford Industrial Estate, and more specifically Oasis Business Park, was the ideal place for us to grow and further serve the needs of our customers.

With the new location finalised, we decided to make the move during Christmas (2006/7) so that our standards of customer service and satisfaction wouldn't be compromised in any way. 

By the beginning of the New Year, a new era for STM UK had commenced. The relocation had been a sucess and everything was falling into place. It was at this point that we welcomed a new member of staff (welcome Stephen) - a baptism of fire if ever there was one!!!

Overall, the move was a huge success, achieved by the hard work and dedication of the whole team here at STM UK.

So here we are now in 2008: a year older (definitely) and wiser (debatable!) and moving from strength to strength. Our new website, together with more easily accessible e-literature, greater stock and shorter lead times allow us to offer an even better level of service.

Here at STM UK we are looking forward to the rest of 2008 and beyond, and to working closely with you all, making the most of the fantastic product ranges available to us.
