Limitex rotary limit switches are used to control the movement of industrial machinery in potentially explosive environments. The limit switch operates as an auxiliary control of an electric motor through a PLC or contactor.
The Limitex product is constructed of G20 cast iron protecting it against water and dust whilst being extremely rugged. Transmission and gear driving shafts are made from AISI 316 stainless steel to prevent against wear and oxidisation.
There are a number of options within the range, for example they can be equipped with cam sets offering 2,3 or 4 switches. They are available with direct control switches to operate directly on the transmission. Great accuracy is ensured due to the cam adjusting screws and special output shaft dimensions are also available on request.
